Photo exhibition "Ganja - 2016 European Youth Capital" hosted in Montenegro
Azerbaijan – Montenegro Cultural and Economical center with the support of the Diplomatic Mission of Azerbaijan in Montenegro hosted Photo exhibition "Ganja - 2016 European Youth Capital" in Podgorica.
Employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Montenegro, Representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Podgorica, NGO members, students, culture and art figures attended the event.
Opening the event director of the center Samir Hajibeyli gave detailed information about the cultural heritage and history of Ganja and underlined the importance of the election of Ganja as a Youth Capital for the 2016 year.
Director of the Center noted that in the framework of "European Youth Capital" program youth from various European countries (Turkey, Georgia, Ukraine, Finland, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Serbia, Montenegro, Latvia, Greece, Lithuania, Estonia, Romania, Portugal) traveled Azerbaijani city of Ganja and made photos from there and that he is sure that those photos will be interesting to see for the guests of the exhibition.
Representative of Montenegro in these program Ivana Cekovic stated that she discovered lots of new information through this program about Azerbaijan, that she is impressed with hospitality and kindness of Azerbaijani people.
At the event novel by Famous Azerbaijani linguist and literary scholar, academic Kamal Abdulla “Unfinished Manuscript” which was translated to Montenegrin language and published by the Azerbaijan – Montenegro Cultural and Economical center with the support of the Diplomatic Mission of Azerbaijan in Montenegro was presented to the guests.
